This season has been an absolute doozy filled with bold design choices and lots of drama. But thankfully, we’ve also fallen in love with the contestants, making it harder to watch finale episode without biting our nails and pacing around the room.
So, tune in with me live to find out whether this season’s lovable Blockheads made any cashola from their weeks of strenuous work, or weather they’re walking away empty handed.
House 3: Britt and Taz
Britt and Taz were the first couple to kick off the auction festivities. The cop couple sat together in a seperate room nervously as the auction began. Along with their beautiful home — dubbed the “wellness home” — the winner of the auction will get $50,000 worth of wines and a Monopoly board game.
What a steal!!!
The bidding battle was between The Block favourite bidder Danny Wallace and an unknown bidder who had a representative on site. It was tense for a while there while Danny made one of his signature bids, forcing the crowd to do quick maths. But in the end, the final bid was for $3,410,000 leaving Britt and Taz with a lovely $420,000 profit!
RESERVE: $2,990,000
WINNING BID: $3,410,000
PROFIT: $420,000
