Fans accuse Tom Brady of shameless money grab as NFL icon stars in new Pizza Hut ad despite his strict diet

Tom Brady has been blasted by fans for ‘selling his soul’ after starring in a new Pizza Hut commercial – despite promoting his notoriously strict diet for years.
The legendary NFL quarterback, who is reportedly worth a staggering $350million, has just launched a national campaign with the famous American pizza restaurant called ‘Pizza Before the Hut’, which challenges quarterbacks to say ‘pizza’ immediately before ‘hut’ during a live game to win a pizza party for their city.
In a hilarious ad, Brady is seen knocking on doors and calling out ‘pizza’ before the ‘hut’ when delivering pies like he once did at the line of scrimmage, with an old lady brutally sacking him at one stage.
Yet after years of preaching about his extreme ‘TB12’ diet – which consists of 80 percent plant-based foods and no fast food, dairy or sugar – fans have called him out online for teaming up with Pizza Hut.
One user posted on X: ’10 years ago Tom Brady only ate spirulina and avocado ice cream and called soda “poison for kids.” Now he’s doing commercials for Pizza Hut’.
Another commented: ‘It is a pretty sharp turn from the man who used to preach the “TB12 Method” like it was gospel.’

A third asked: ‘I thought Tom Brady doesn’t eat tomatoes?’
‘Selling your soul takes different forms,’ concluded a fourth.
‘He already sold out. Now he’s doubling down,’ said a fifth.
While one simply put: ‘Money talks’.
Others, however, were quick to leap to Brady’s defense.
‘A GOAT is obviously entitled to change his mind,’ one argued.
‘Well, he’s not having to stay in shape to get pummeled by large defensive lineman anymore,’ another user pointed out.
While one even claimed: ‘He’s not eating it. Guarantee that.’
Brady credited his iconic success on the field, which saw him win a record seven Super Bowls, to his zany diet and exercise plan.

The TB12 diet steers clear of food and drinks that are known to trigger inflammation, such as sugar, fast food and alcohol, while also avoiding vegetables high in nitrates, like peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and eggplant – due to a tenuous link to inflammation.
It follows an organic, gluten-free and mostly plant-based meal plan using an 80-20 rule – with 80 percent of Brady’s diet being vegetables and the other 20 percent meat – to get the needed vitamins and minerals a person needs to stay in top shape.
Brady has been accused of a money grab despite recently signing an eye-watering $375m contract with Fox Sports.
The New England Patriots legend is nearing the end of his second season as a Fox analyst, which has been controversial after he also recently acquired a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders.
