Fans Are Convinced Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom Are Over After Last Night’s Sydney Concert

Can Katy Perry catch a break? From her album being panned to copping mass shit for skyrocketing into the atmosphere, it’s been a rough 2025 for the pop star. Sadly for Katy, if the latest rumours that she’s split with her fiancé Orlando Bloom are to be believed, her rough trot could still be in progress.
So, is there any truth to the whispers, or is this another attempt to kick Katy when she’s down? Let’s investigate.
The split whispers first kicked off when a bunch of inside sources told PEOPLE that the genetically blessed couple were feeling the strain after the difficult start to the year.
“Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album. It made her very stressed,” one source said.
“Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.”
Another source, who was reportedly on the tour with Katy, told the publication that she was “disappointed” with some of the tour reviews.
“It’s put stress on their relationship,” they said.
It’s worth noting that as far as celebrity entertainment publications go, PEOPLE is highly regarded. It’s speculated that it’s the go-to publication for celebrities when they want to leak their own news, so, you know, keep that in mind.

The breakup rumours were kicked up a notch by Page Six, who reported that the tension had turned into a big ol’ split.
“It’s over,” the insider said candidly.
“They are waiting ’til her tour is over before they split.”
Katy is currently in Australia for her Lifetimes tour and she’ll be jetting around the world to perform her on-stage extravaganza until December 7.
The break up whispers turned into straight up shouts during a moment a Katy’s Sydney show at Qudos Bank Arena on Tuesday.
She took to the stage to sing a track from her first album named “I’m Still Breathing”. It’s a heartbreaking song about a break up, including lyrics: “I’m still breathing but we’ve been dead for a while. This sickness has no cure, we’re going down for sure. Oh, we’ve been diagnosed so let’s give up the ghost.”
You can listen to the very poignant vibes below if you want to get the full picture.
As Katy was singing this song during her most recent performance, she paused to open up a TimTam packet and begin to chomp on the irresistible Aussie treat.
“This song is about a break-up, and this TimTam saved me,” she quipped, before thanking the crowd and offering the packet to the punters in the front row.
She is so real for that and you can watch the moment down below.
While this could very well just be Katy leaning into the meaning behind the track — and her love for TimTams, I guess — fans have taken the moment as further evidence that things are finnito between Katy and Orlando.
So, do I think they’re broken up? Possibly — I can only imagine how difficult it would be to feel the brunt of the negative press of last year and be away from your family for so long on tour. However, we haven’t heard anyting from Katy, Orlando or their teams directly.
Until they comment with confirmation or denials to publications like PEOPLE, we won’t know for sure.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom first got together in 2016 after meeting at a Golden Globes after party. They initially split for a year in 2017 before getting back together in 2018.
They got engaged in 2019 before welcoming their daughter Daisy Dove in August 2020.
