Fans React To Justin Timberlake’s Lytham Festival Outburst

Justin Timberlake has been slammed by devoted fans after footage of him raging at crew members during a music festival went viral. Oh boy, the man truly hasn’t caught a break since *that* tour ruining incident.

Over the weekend, punters flocked to UK‘s Lytham Festival to catch iconic music acts including Alanis Morissette, Jess Glynne (icon of the J2Holiday meme) and Train. Alongside that stellar lineup, Justin Timberlake was set to make an appearance with his smooth moves and timeless bangers.

However, among the excitement of the festival, the former boy band member was caught having a tense moment with employees at the festival mid-set.

According to a TikTok shared by Aydan and Zacc (@aydannzacc), Justin was seemingly having a scrap over sound cut issues.

“@JustinTimberlake fuming at sound cutes[sic],” text on the video reads.

In the video, a crew member is seen approaching the singer to seemingly discuss some issues with his set before a second crew member appears. In the short exchange, Justin looked frustrated, even pointing his finger downward one point, which was met with cheers from the crowd.

Fans divided over Justin Timberlake’s viral encounter at Lytham Festival

Shortly after the video went gangbusters on the social media site — clocking more than 635.1K views at the time of writing — fans slammed the singer’s response, with one describing his conduct as “unprofessional”.

“Losing it with your support crew is considered highly unprofessional in the world of stage performance,” one person wrote.

“He mad about anything and everything,” another penned.

“He was so aggressive LOL,” wrote a third.

However, some fans argued that he had every right to be upset, with one viewer saying that they “don’t blame” him for his frustration with tech issues.

“I don’t blame him. He’s there to entertain. He was hired to perform for paying customers,” a fan commented.

“I don’t blame him for being a bit peeved that he’s trying to entertain his fans who paid money to see him. It was great that the fans stepped into to help him, it was brilliant,” another viewer wrote.

At the time of writing, the “Suit & Tie” singer hasn’t responded to the viral video and hasn’t explained the reason behind his minor on-stage mishap.

However, according to one TikToker, Justin was frustrated that the festival messed with his sound system mid-set.

With that, I’ll leave you with this golden comment: “Cry me a Lytham”.
