Footy star and his glamorous wife finally reveal their daughter’s VERY unusual name after keeping it a secret

Footy star Max King and his glamorous wife have revealed the name of their daughter after she was born on New Year’s Eve.
Taking to Instagram, Christy King confirmed the couple settled on Psalm as her first name.
The announcement follows the arrival of their son Hercules in 2024.
English-born King – who made his State of Origin debut for the NSW Blues last year – met his wife at a church on the Gold Coast.
The front-rower, 28, and his wife exchanged vows at Curzon Hall in Sydney in October 2023, surrounded by family and friends.
Both devout Christians, they famously abstained from sex during their engagement.

‘We are so loud and proud about our faith… it’s never been something we’ve shied away from because it is so important to us,’ Christy previously told 2DayFM.
‘We spoke about it (remaining celibate) early on…on the first or second date.
‘Christian dating 101 is you’re not wasting anyone’s time…and honestly we’ve seen such fruit from it in our relationship in terms of communication…it’s just so good.’
King also admitted she was initially hesitant about the relationship given her husband’s high-profile job.
‘When I met him I was like, “Oh you’re a footy player, red flag, what have I got myself into?”‘ she said.
‘For sure [his teammates are supportive]…but when we first started dating they were like, ‘as if you guys are’ [abstaining from sex].
‘I feel so blessed to have met Max…we are the puzzle pieces that fit together and it’s all down to God.’
Last September, the couple revealed they were living with a mould infestation in their Sydney home that left the footy star seriously ill.

‘I’ve been crook – coughing, flu, phlegm, constantly lethargic – and I haven’t been getting better. I’ve been sick for six to seven weeks,’ King said at the time.
‘Someone suggested mould and when I read into it, I knew that’s what it was.
‘My young fella, he’s been really crook. My wife, who is six months pregnant, has also been crook. We’ve all been sick as.’
King is currently in Las Vegas with his Bulldogs teammates ahead of their NRL season opener against the Dragons on March 1.
