Furious parents demand answers after popular play centre announces its shock closure – leaving pre-paid children’s birthday parties in limbo

The shock closure of a popular trampoline centre has left pre-booked birthday parties in limbo and furious parents scrambling for answers.
Jummps Indoor Trampoline Park, based in Parkwood, Gold Coast, announced on Monday that it would be entering voluntary administration.
There was no indication on ASIC’s register that liquidators had been appointed, and the company is still registered as of Tuesday.
However, the centre’s phone line has been disconnected and it is listed on Google as ‘permanently closed’.
Distraught parents were quick to express their dismay at the sudden shutdown.
One mother said she had booked a birthday party for the coming weeks but hadn’t heard from the centre since the closure announcement.
A second said: ‘They took my money only last week for a party and would have known this. If I didn’t get tagged in this post I wouldn’t have known and would have turned up with party friends – just a nightmare.’
Others expressed hopes the business would reopen under new owners.

Some customers are understood to have received a text from the company on Monday night, advising the centre would be closing.
‘After seeking professional advice, we’ve had to start the formal process of liquidation due to financial challenges,’ the text read.
‘From here, the liquidator will manage all legal and financial responsibilities.
‘We can’t offer further details or make promises outside that formal process.
‘We are deeply grateful for every child and family who have been a part of this journey. You all made Jummps feel like one big family that we’re really going to miss.’
Jummps opened in 2018 and operated out of Parkwood Village, home to the Gold Coast Titans.
Daily Mail has contacted Jummps for comment on the closure.
