The fashion week beauty pendulum swings between inspiration and aspiration. Sometimes, a hair or makeup look will be at odds with real life, but beautiful regardless. Other times, the runway is a melting pot of actual, wearable inspiration. This season, SS26, is the latter, particularly when we’re talking about hair accessories. From bandanas at Calvin Klein, to barrettes at Sandy Liang, there was a lot to take in (not to mention, many bright ideas that will fix any future bad hair days).
My favourite hair moments from the season thus far, below.
Calvin Klein
The perfect head scarf for those of us who prefer minimalism, or want to channel Gywneth Paltrow as Marge Sherwood in The Talented Mr Ripley. I like to think that Grace Kelly would also approve.
Sandy Liang
Sandy Liang knows a good hair accessory and this crochet head scarf is a perfect example.

Simon Rocha
There’s something so nostalgic about the sequinned headbands at Simon Rocha (I wore something similar to my year 10 formal). It’s Gatsby-coded but fresh against the undone, textured hair. Also, a great alternative to a statement earring.
Anna Sui
In case you needed another reason to believe that bandanas are the accessory of the year… The lace and shape of this style make it even more special.
