There’s rumours that Harry Styles might just be touring Australia in 2026, coinciding with the completion of his as-yet unreleased fourth studio album.
The rumblings come courtesy of radio host Brendan “Fev” Fevola, who apparently heard from a “very, very close confidant” of Styles’ that the singer will be heading Down Under sometime next year.
“I’ve got some hot press,” Fevola said on The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick show earlier this week.
“It was word of mouth, straight from a very, very close confidant… He’ll be touring Australia next year. 100 per cent coming to Australia. It’s huge news.”
As for the source of the tea, Fevola claimed to have been “with a man who is very good mates with [Styles]”, saying the insider is “very close” to the musician and knows “he will be touring”.
But what good is a tour without an album to support it?
Well, there’s more rumours on the front, too, with Fevola claiming Styles’ follow-up to 2022’s Harry’s House is “now completed” and has “been completed for about a month”.
He said Styles wrote the album “on a typewriter”, and plans to release it “maybe late this year or early next year”.
“When an album gets released, what do they do? They tour,” Fevola added.
“He will be touring our shores… it’ll be like when the King or Queen come to town.”
The reports remain unconfirmed at this stage — so no need to mark your calendars just yet — but if or when it does arrive, it will mark Styles’ first Aussie jaunt since February and March of 2023, when he took his Love On Tour to Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast.
The Melbourne show was notable in that it spawned reports that Styles had apparently asked a security guard to meet two lucky girlies in the audience, and I bet they have never shut up about that moment ever since (I certainly wouldn’t).
We don’t know many details about Styles’ upcoming album, beyond reports that he is collaborating again with his longtime co-writers, Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson.
The album will serve as the follow-up to Harry’s House, which (controversially) won Album of the Year at the 2023 Grammy Awards.
While we’ll have to await further details and official confirmation regarding his tour, best believe I’ll be first in line in what will inevitably be an absolute shitshow fo ticket sales.
