Home and Away costars turned lovers, Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart, are officially engaged after two years of dating.
If you thought Valentine’s Day was done and dusted, you thought wrong! On Sunday morning, the Australian entertainment sweethearts confirmed their ‘yuge relationship update via an Instagram video.
Within the video, James — sporting a snazzy suit — is seen getting on thy knee in front of the Home and Away icon, surrounded by friends and family. After a sweet, sweet speech, it’s evident that Ada says yes to his proposal, which was then sealed by a snog and cuddle.
“She said yes,” James wrote in the caption of his post, with Ada writing, “I said yes”, in hers.
Ada also shared an Instagram Story, giving fans a closer glimpse of the rock — and me oh, my, it’s quite the bling bling!

Both posts have since been flooded with friends, family, fans and fellow Aussie entertainment stars, with many celebrating the couple on their huge relationship milestone.
“Amazing you guys. Gotta love love,” Dr Chris Brown wrote.
“Congratulations, Jimmy and Ada,” Yellow Wiggle Greg Page commented. alongside a batch of heart emojis.

To give you a quick recap on Ada and James’ love story — which lowkey would work as a subplot on the iconic Aussie soap — the pair made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2024 Logie Awards.
But before they could make their relationship public, rumours of their romance were embroiled in controversy. You see, James was previously married to another former Home and Away costar, Sarah Roberts.
The pair had only called it quits months before James and Ada debuted their relationship at the Logies. As for Ada, she had separated from her ex-hubby, Adam Rigby, in late 2023.
Regardless of the circumstances surrounding their relationship, it appears that the couple are very, very happy. And honestly, I will always root for my Home and Away icon, Ada!!
