A plane has crashed into the ground in front of shocked onlookers at an air show.
The crowd at the Avalon Airshow in Victoria were watching a performance by the Sky Aces Formation Aerobatic Team on Friday when one of the aircraft hurtled to the ground during a manoeuvre.
An eyewitness at the show told Daily Mail Australia the plane was doing a loop and didn’t pull up.
Silence fell over the crowd as at least two emergency service vehicles immediately drove over to the scene.
At this stage the flying displays have stopped until further notice.
