SiriusXM shock jock Howard Stern reportedly has some serious one-sided beef with Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper that radio executives have to step in to avoid any run-ins between the two media personalities when they appear in New York.
In a mammoth tea spill to The US Sun, an insider has claimed that Stern has a strong dislike towards the Call Her Daddy big gun, with the insider stating that “she’s the one that bugs him”.
Cooper recently left Spotify and signed a massive deal with SiriusXM, the same radio service that houses the controversial Howard Stern Show.
“She gets hundreds of millions of hits, she has this mega $125 million deal, and he hates that this young bubbly woman is the big new thing,” the insider claimed.
“That’s who they have to keep Howard away from when she comes to New York.”
The insider went on to add that there appears to be a podcasters vs radio host rivalry brewing, with podcasters leaving radio folks “stunned”.

“It’s completely turned Howard’s world upside down. He’s been in radio for 40 years, and this change has really shocked everyone,” the insider added.
“Alex and Joe Rogan, these massive podcasters, have traditional radio guys stunned.”
The anonymous source added that Cooper is the “next generation” and “that’s the future”.
Elsewhere, a second anonymous source claimed Stern also has a bone to pick with Andy Cohen, whose interviews are seemingly more popular than the shock jock’s.
“Andy’s interviews are regularly promoted by Sirius, while you just don’t hear much about Howard’s interviews these days,” the insider shared.
Whispers of Stern’s one-sided beef with Cooper come after it was rumoured that his show on SiriusXM was coming to an end after two decades on the air.
Per PEOPLE, the rumours first began to bubble after his 2020 $500 million contract was coming to an end, with no news of a resign.
At the time of writing, neither Stern nor SiriusXM have confirmed the status of the shock jock’s show.
