Hulk Hogan’s Florida mansion to go on sale for $11m… six months after WWE icon had a heart attack there before his death

Hulk Hogan’s longtime Florida home will go on the market for $11million, just six months after the wrestling icon suffered a heart attack there before his death.

Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, collapsed at his five-bedroom mansion on Clearwater Beach on the morning of July 24. He later died in hospital of natural causes.

According to a medical examiner’s certificate obtained by the Daily Mail, he suffered an acute myocardial infarction, more commonly known as a heart attack.

It also said he had a history of atrial fibrillation – an irregular heartbeat – and leukemia. Police have previously admitted there is no evidence of foul play in Hogan’s death.

Now his former home, which spans 5,400 square feet and sits on Clearwater Beach, is going to hit the market.

Hogan lived in the property from 2012 and it boasts five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms, oozing luxury throughout.

Hogan bought the house back in 2012 for $3.3million, according to The Tampa Bay Times. He considered it downsizing at the time after leaving a huge 12,000-square-foot home in Belleair.

Hogan’s shock sudden death led to an outpouring of grief among the wrestling community.

He was perhaps the biggest star in WWE´s long history, known for both his larger-than-life personality and his wrestling exploits.

He was the main draw for the first WrestleMania in 1985 and was a fixture for years, facing everyone from Andre The Giant and Randy Savage to The Rock and even WWE co-founder Vince McMahon.

Hogan won at least six WWE championships and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005 and reinstated there in 2018. He had been removed from the Hall of Fame in 2015 after he was recorded making racial slurs for which he apologized.
