Influencer Piper Rockelle Addresses Mum’s Abuse Allegations

CONTENT WARNING: This article discusses alleged child sexual abuse.

17-year-old influencer Piper Rockelle has responded to abuse allegations against her mother Tiffany Rockelle which were highlighted in a recent Netflix documentary series.

A docu-series released last month, Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing, was focused on Piper’s meteoric rise on social media as well as the 11 underage content creators that have accused her mum of emotional, verbal, physical and, at times, sexual abuse.

“They’re not making it up, but they’re extending the truth,” Piper told Rolling Stone on Friday.

“I was there. I witnessed every day. I think that they believe what they are saying, but I was there and I saw everything.”

Piper also denied the abuse allegations, many of which were made by her former friends and who belonged in “Piper’s Squad”, an online group that were once featured on Piper’s YouTube channel. In 2022, accusers filed a lawsuit against Tiffany

Months later, Tiffany attempted to countersue those accusing her, but would later drop the case voluntarily. Lawyers representing the minors and their mothers called Tiffany’s case “baseless”, per The Independent.

“There’s never been any kind of abuse. No physical abuse, no sexual abuse. No verbal abuse. Nothing,” she told the outlet.

Piper also revealed that she “fell apart” and had “awful thoughts” when the trailer to the docu-series was first released in March of this year.

“I did not think I was going to get through it.

“Something I have to worry about is people coming and trying to take away my mother because they always envied my mom and I’s relationship.”

One, of many, bombshells that were revealed in the Netflix series included an accusation that Tiffany sold her daughter’s used underwear and training bras to an unknown older man.

“I never sold any of my underwear,” she said.

“[I] had a Poshmark that I was selling my old clothes on because I had a brand deal.”

The underage influencer — who has a whopping six million followers on Instagram — stated that she “won’t be stepping away” from social media any time soon.

“Social media is about entertaining people and I want to entertain them and make them happy,” she said.

“I’m getting the hard stuff out of the way. By the time I’m 30, I’ll be Zen. I’ll be good.”
