Inside footy WAG Kristi Wilkinson’s wild ‘Pilates and Prosecco’ hens party before her wedding to new Manly captain Tom Trbojevic

The wedding countdown is on for NRL powerhouse Tom Trbojevic and his fiancée Kristi Wilkinson – who celebrated her hens party in style over the weekend.

The bride-to-be hosted a spectacular celebration at Newport on Sydney’s northern beaches, letting loose with a large group of girlfriends and family.

The theme of the party was ‘Pilates and Prosecco’, with the girls beginning their day at KX Pilates Mona Vale for a workout before letting their hair down at the real celebration.

Then a charter named ‘Limobuddy’ took the group down to the Newport pier where their luxury boat was waiting.

Kristi was the star of the show, dazzling in a short, white, textured mini-dress paired with heart-shaped sunglasses and a sparkling necklace that read ‘Mrs Trbojevic’.

The rest of her extensive bridal squad adhered to a chic palette of light colours, primarily opting for mini-dresses in various shades of pink and neutral tones.

Many of the guests were spotted carrying small, elegant white floral bouquets, confirming their roles as the inner bridal crew.

And while Tom couldn’t physically be there, his presence was certainly felt.

Guests were having a blast posing with cardboard cut-outs of the star footballer, including a life-size standee of him dressed formally in a tuxedo, and several Tom masks for easy photo-ops.

It was a family affair too, with the bride’s mother proudly celebrating with the group.

She was seen wearing a white dress and an unmistakable ‘Mother of the Bride’ sash as she joined in the waterfront celebrations.

Kristi also shared a warm embrace with her father before she boarded the vessel.

Finally, when the day was done, Kristi’s friends helped her home, arms linked after a huge day of fun.

Trbojevic and Kristi were introduced by a mutual friend in 2021 and soon began dating. They made their relationship Instagram official later that year.

Their early posts, including the simple caption ‘duo’, confirmed the new romance, and they soon added each other’s names and heart emojis to their respective bios.

Kristi regularly shared supportive updates about Tom, celebrating milestones such as their two-year anniversary and his 150th NRL game.

In November 2024, Tom proposed in a rose-petal-filled cabin in the NSW Southern Highlands, and the couple announced their engagement in a shared Instagram post captioned ‘FOR LIFE 13.11.24,’ featuring a ring designed by Affinity Diamonds.

Well-wishes poured in from across the NRL world, with stars including Cameron Murray, Brian To’o, Reuben Garrick and Cooper Johns sending their regards.

The engagement came shortly after Tom helped lead the Kangaroos to victory in the Pacific Championships, where he won the Harry Sunderland Medal as Australia’s player of the series.

Earlier that year, Tom bought a $4.3million home in Collaroy Plateau, complete with ocean views, an alfresco dining area, a pool deck and an entire upstairs wing dedicated to the main bedroom.

The purchase followed the sale of his Warriewood property and continued his long-running investment focus on Sydney’s northern beaches.

Throughout their relationship, Kristi, a marketing and sales coordinator, frequently appeared in Tom’s posts and shared glimpses of their life together since April 2021.

After four years together, the couple plan to marry in December.

Trbojevic has signed a new deal to play a 13th season in Manly colours and was recently named the new Sea Eagles captain after the departure of stalwart Daly Cherry-Evans.

The 29-year-old has been stand-in captain twice before, once each in 2024 and 2025, and beat brother and former NSW skipper Jake to the permanent role.

‘Tom leads through his actions on and off the field,’ said coach Anthony Seibold.

‘I know he’ll do a great job as captain.’

Softly-spoken Trbojevic becomes only Manly’s second full-time captain since the start of the 2017 season, when departing halfback Cherry-Evans first took on the role.

He is tasked with rousing the Sea Eagles into a new era following the exit of Sydney Roosters recruit Cherry-Evans, their long-time on-field general and most-capped player of all time.

Manly endured a mixed 2025 season that was overshadowed by speculation about Cherry-Evans’ departure and ended in a 10th-placed finish.

Cherry-Evans’ replacement, ex-Canberra veteran Jamal Fogarty, arrived at Brookvale Oval on Monday for his first day of training.

Injury-stricken Trbojevic will hope a full pre-season can translate into his first campaign of playing more than 20 games since 2018.

‘The next few months of pre-season will be tough but it’s an exciting time for all of us as we prepare for the new season,’ he said.
