Jessica Biel Apparently ‘Not Happy’ About Justin Timberlake’s Viral DWI Arrest Video

Justin Timberlake’s wife, Jessica Biel, is apparently “not happy” about the public release of *that* DWI arrest video, according to a source close to the actress.

ICYMI, social media feeds were set alight over the weekend when police cam footage from Timberlake’s 2024 arrest in Sag Harbour officially hit the airwaves, despite the pop star’s previous attempts to block it.

Various clips of Timberlake’s arrest have been doing the rounds on social media, including the now-infamous interaction in which he explained to the police officer he was in the middle of a “world tour”, and others where he attempted the roadside sobriety tests.

Now, an insider has claimed Biel, who married Timberlake in 2012 and shares two sons with the singer, is “not happy about the renewed attention” brought on by the release of the footage.

“It obviously doesn’t portray him in the best light,” the insider told PEOPLE, adding that Biel finds the whole debacle “stressful and would prefer to move past it”.

“She’s supportive of Justin, but she’s also not afraid to express when she’s disappointed in certain decisions. This was one of those moments,” they added.

The source stressed Biel is still sticking by her husband despite the “challenging moments”, and said she is “happiest when she’s able to focus on family life, along with her work when she chooses to take on projects”.

If you recall, Timberlake tried to avoid this very scenario earlier this month, when his legal team filed court documents arguing that releasing the video would be “an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy”.

Timberlake’s lawyers said doing so would cause “severe and irreparable harm” to his reputation and expose him to “public ridicule and harassment”, but the footage was eventually released after he reached a settlement with the Sag Harbor Village Police Department.

“There’s a reason they pushed back on the footage being released,” the source recalled to PEOPLE.

It all stems from a June 2024 incident where Timberlake was pulled over on his way to a friend’s house after driving through a stop sign and failing to stay in his lane.

His lawyers denied he was intoxicated before accepting a plea deal to a lesser charge of driving while impaired.

The deal came with a fine, court surcharge, 25 hours of community service and a requirement to record a public safety message about the dangers of drunk driving.
