Joe Rogan sends chilling warning to Jake Paul and urges ex-YouTuber to quit boxing after Anthony Joshua KO

After being on the receiving end of a devastating knockout blow, Joe Rogan is advising boxer Jake Paul to consider ending his career early.
Last Friday, Paul took six rounds of punishment from former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
The decisive blow left Paul needing surgery to fix his jaw – which broke in two places – as the YouTuber-turned-fighter was left bloodied and spitting out teeth.
On an episode of his popular podcast, Rogan – who has long been associated with combat sports, especially the UFC – commented on the fight and suggested Paul should call it a career.
‘Don’t do this very long because there’s a price that you pay that is not worth it. It’s not worth it,’ Rogan said in the episode.
‘And that price is depression, deep depression, a severe brain imbalance that’s going to lead you to addiction.
Podcaster Joe Rogan cautioned Jake Paul on taking his boxing career much further
Paul took a devastating blow to the face that shattered his jaw and had him spitting teeth
‘It leads so many people to impulsive behavior. So many people become gambling addicts, drug addicts, alcoholics after their fighting career.
‘You could only take so much. And at a certain… Like that one that he got from Joshua, say if you have a punch card, you have so many punches that you can get in your life, which I believe you do. I believe it’s a certain number. That one was like 10 punches.
‘That was a lot of concussions in that one punch. That was real damage. If someone’s breaking your jaw in two places, the inside of your f***ing head, there’s a lot of damage going on in there, too.’
In an episode of the ‘Impaulsive’ podcast that he hosts with brother and WWE superstar Logan Paul, Jake revealed he had four plates inserted into his mouth and that he lost multiple teeth.
‘It’s like there’s a baseball in there,’ Paul said. ‘Four titanium plates. It’s literally snapped, bro, completely snapped.’
Anthony Joshua’s sixth-round knockout blow broke Paul’s jaw in two places
The boxer made a brief appearance on his brother Logan’s podcast, saying he had four plates inserted into his face and that it felt like he had ‘a baseball in there’
Paul opened up on what went through his head when Joshua made contact with the right hook that ended the fight in the sixth round.
‘I was like “wow, that was nice”. I was on the ground like “that was a good shot”. He surprised my jaw. I mean, it’s not that hard to get your ass beat.
‘I was doing good, I just think my cardio, just the mental pressure of the big guy and sparring the big people is different on the 10 ounce gloves. But it was a great experience, I learnt a lot in there.’
Paul then had to stop for a moment before saying: ‘I can’t really f***ing talk.’
