Keith Urban dropped the 2016 track The Fighter out of his setlist during Thursday’s concert in Hershey, Pennsylvania, amid his shock divorce from Nicole Kidman.
The 57-year-old country singer — who had returned to the stage for the first time since the split news came to light — is said to have written the song about his now-estranged wife.
However, the star opted to not belt out the tune amid his High and Alive World Tour on Thursday, with dates set to conclude later this month on October 17 in Nashville.
It comes not long after a performance of The Fighter recently went viral when he altered the lyrics to include the name of his utility player Maggie Baugh. The pair have been embroiled in romance speculation since Urban’s divorce from Kidman.
Some of the original lyrics to the song are: ‘When they’re tryna get to you, baby I’ll be the fighter.’
However, Urban could be heard singing in a clip: ‘Maggie, I’ll be your fighter,’ which she reposted to Instagram with the caption, ‘Did he just say that.’

Urban made another change during his Thursday performance in Pennsylvania and altered lyrics to his breakup anthem You’ll Think of Me.
The star usually would sing the lyrics, ‘Take your space and take your reasons,’ but instead opted to change the end to, ‘Take your bulls*** reasons,’ per Us Weekly.
As he returned to the stage this week at the Giant Center amid his split from Kidman, Urban notably ditched his wedding band.
And while performing the 2024 track Heart Like a Hometown, the singer also paid a bizarre tribute to his estranged wife, as he chose to keep a photo of Kidman and their teenage daughters in a slideshow that played for the crowd.
He then opened up to his fans about his childhood and how his parents allowed him to drop out of school so he could pursue his passion for music full-time, per People.
Urban was seen rocking out in a gray shirt and mingling with fans during the performance.
Shortly before the concert, he was spotted stepping out of a plane at Harrisburg International Airport with his ring finger once again completely bare.
It comes only days after his split from Kidman came to light – with the Oscar winner, 58, officially filing for divorce on Tuesday following 19 years of marriage and welcoming two children: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

And on Tuesday, his estranged wife filed for divorce and cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the shock separation.
The former couple first crossed paths in 2005 and became engaged in May 2006. The following month, the stars said ‘I do’ at the Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel in Sydney, Australia.
And earlier this week, a Nashville-based music business PR claimed that Urban has already moved on with someone younger in the music industry.
‘The rumor is that he’s with a younger woman in the business. It’s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.’
Fellow country music artist Maggie Baugh, 25, has been wrapped up in the romance speculation.
Urban and Baugh first met last year in 2024 when he invited her to perform with him during the CMT Music Awards.
He then asked her to join him as a utility guitarist – which she opened up about during an interview with Pittsburgh Music Magazine back in April.
‘Working with Urban was like going to rock star school. He is a musical encyclopedia,’ she told the outlet.

However, the Daily Mail has since exclusively revealed that Baugh appears to already have a boyfriend
Past clips of the pair performing on stage together have since resurfaced in the wake of the star’s split from Kidman.
In one video from a Las Vegas concert, Urban could be heard singing, ‘I was born to love you,’ while turning towards Baugh.
However, the Daily Mail has since exclusively revealed that Baugh appears to already have a boyfriend.
Urban and Kidman were last publicly seen together back in June of this year when they attended the FIFA World Cup match in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Australian-American actress currently resides at their $4 million home in Nashville along with their two teenage children.
The actress was reportedly left ‘blindsided’ by the separation.
A source stated, ‘Keith never sees Nicole, either she is filming or he is on tour. There was a lot of love between the two and they might not divorce, but there is a world that they both live where neither of them are in it.
‘Keith and Nicole have been together for decades and there is a world which they can reconcile, but the way their pairing is now, it is not a couple.’

A separate source told People that the actress is ‘hurt’ and did not want their 19-year marriage to come to an end.
According to divorce documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Kidman will become the primary residential parent of their two teenage daughters.

Elsewhere, the document specifies that Kidman and Urban will make major decisions regarding their daughters together, including educational and extracurricular activities.
Neither party will receive monthly child support as Urban has ‘already prepaid all child support obligations.’
Despite the divorce, both stars will still ‘provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the children.’
Kidman and Urban also must not ‘speak badly of each other’ or about other family members.
The former couple will ‘encourage’ their children to ‘love the other parent and be comfortable in both families.’
The stars are also required to take a ‘mandated parenting seminar’ within 60 days of the divorce filing.
The notarized parenting plan was signed by the Oscar winner on September 6, while her estranged husband signed on August 29, a few days earlier.
