Lady Gaga thrilled fans after Netflix released a first look image of her as a mysterious new character in Wednesday Season 2
The superstar, 39, looked striking in an eerie portrait with Thing, the disembodied, personified hand, on her shoulder.
The 14-time Grammy winner is set to make her long-awaited return to the MTV VMAs stage in the forthcoming days as well as make a cameo in the second act of Wednesday’s new season.
‘A vision in venom. Here’s your first look at Lady Gaga as Rosaline Rotwood,’ the official X account for the hit Netflix series wrote ahead of part two’s premiere on September 3.
Not much has been revealed yet about her role in the season except that she will be playing a Nevermore Academy teacher, who Jenna Ortega’s character Wednesday Addams will inevitably encounter.
When the second part of season two premieres, Gaga will also be debuting a new song for the show titled The Dead Dance.

In the first look portrait, the multihyphenate talent had long, icy platinum blonde curls cascading across her shoulders and down her back.
She wore a baby blue, silk blouse with frayed sleeves.
Her eyebrows were bleached to match her hair and her pale skin was accentuated with dark and deeply contrasting makeup.
Many of her fans reacted to the first look portrait with praise for her look and expressed their excitement towards her forthcoming appearance in the show.
‘MOTHER HAS ARRIVED,’ one fan wrote as they retweeted the post.
Another person said they were already anticipating her award-winning performance as they tweeted: ‘Mother is coming for her 2nd Emmy for outstanding guest actress.’

The first look comes shortly after it was revealed that the star will be making her long-awaited return to the MTV Video Music Awards stage after a five-year absence.
The superstar, who has been busy touring the world amid her sold-out Mayhem Ball Tour, was confirmed to be joining the star-studded lineup this week.
On Saturday, the official Instagram page for the awards ceremony announced that ‘there will be magic in the air’ as Mother Monster will be taking her latest hits to the VMAs stage.
She will be joining the highly anticipated lineup including Doja Cat, Mariah Carey, Jelly Roll, Sabrina Carpenter, Post Malone, Tate McRae and J Balvin among many more.
The MTV Video Music Awards is scheduled for September 7 at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.
The exciting news comes shortly after the Abracadabra hitmaker joined Jenna Ortega at Netflix’s Wednesday Graveyard Gala in New York City this week — ahead of the premiere of her cameo in the second act of the hit series’ season two.
The last time Gaga performed at the VMAs, she took the stage with Ariana Grande to perform their chart-topping dance-pop collaboration, Rain On Me, in 2020.
In addition to her highly anticipated performance, Gaga is also expected to take home multiple awards at this year’s ceremony.

The singer-songwriter leads this year’s list with 12 nominations, including nods in major categories like Video of the Year, Artist of the Year and Best Album.
Gaga already has 18 VMA wins under her belt and her fans are anticipating her to add even more accolades this year.
This year also marks the third time that Gaga led MTV’s list of VMA nominees.
She previously topped the list with 13 nods in 2010 and again in 2020 tying for first with nine total nominations.
Currently, Gaga is performing her hits amid her ongoing tour in support of her seventh album: Mayhem. She kicked off her Mayhem Ball Tour in Las Vegas back in July.
