Lindsay Lohan has denied rumours that she bought herself a new face despite the rumours, insisting that her youthful look comes down to *checks notes* juice and ice-water.
In a recent Elle interview, the actress addressed the swirling facelift rumours with the kind of dry wit we can only aspire to. “When? With what time? Where?” she quipped, making it clear she’s not spending her days under the knife or hiding out in recovery.
Her publicist, who seems just as exasperated as Lindsay, called the speculation “so mean”, pointing out the double standard that pops up every time a woman looks even slightly refreshed.
“The second she looks any different, they assume she had her face lifted at 37 or 38, that she ripped apart this or that. It’s so mean,” they told Elle.
“It just sucks that that’s where they go with women in today’s world. Women can’t just look good to look good and change their lifestyle to be more healthy.”
Apparently, the only thing Lindsay’s been lifting is her morning juice — carrot, ginger, lemon, olive oil, and apple. She’s also big on green tea, water, and pickled beets.
It’s giving Jennifer Lopez saying the only thing she does to her face is put olive oil on her skin in 2020, but totally girl.
Lindsay’s “new face” is, according to her, the result of a post-motherhood health kick. Lindsay revealed that after she had her son, her skin got more sensitive.
“That’s what really made me change my whole routine and diet and everything. I did blood tests, and I was like, ‘I want to know everything I’m allergic to.’ So I cut everything out.”
She now swears by ice-cold water, serums, lasers, and the occasional eye patch. Lindsay also teased her new skincare line during the interview, because of course.
Lindsay does admit that she is not a total purist. She’s refreshingly honest about dabbling in the usual celebrity toolkit. “Everyone does Botox,” she told Elle, adding that anyone who says they don’t is probably fibbing.
The conversation of new faces has really been picking up in celebrity land, especially as Kris Jenner debuted a face so fresh that people are mistaking her for her own daughter. The 69-year-old Kardashian matriarch recently showed up in Paris with a jawline and cheeks that had the internet convinced she’d cracked the code to time travel.

The doctor behind Kris’ new look? Dr. Steven Levine, a Park Avenue plastic surgeon known for “natural-looking” facelifts that start at about $45,000 a pop.
Jenner hasn’t detailed exactly what she has had done, but experts and fans alike are convinced it’s more than just a good night’s sleep and a green smoothie. She’s been open about previous procedures — Botox, fillers, neck lifts, even an earlobe reduction on Keeping Up With the Kardashians — so it’s not exactly shocking that she’s had a little tune-up.

Experts say that while no one should be forced to share their private medical history, flat-out denial from public figures can be damaging. “When they’re not honest about it, I think they’re being unethical because they’re in the spotlight,” said Dr. Daniel Barrett, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon told USA Today. The pressure to look perfect is already sky-high; pretending it’s all down to diet and serums just makes it worse.
Lindsay Lohan says she hasn’t had a facelift, and Kris Jenner, on the other hand, is living proof that a good surgeon can turn back the clock. Both approaches are valid, but when celebrities fudge the truth about what it takes to look “perfect”, it leaves the rest of us chasing a fantasy and feeling insecure and defeated as a result.
So, next time you’re tempted to believe that flawless skin is just a juice cleanse away, remember: sometimes it’s lasers, sometimes it’s genetics, and sometimes it’s just really, really good lighting. But it’s rarely just “clean living” — no matter what the press release says.
