Lionel Messi and Inter Miami have been dumped out of the MLS playoffs by Atlanta United.
The best of three series was tied at 1-1 going in to Saturday night’s pivotal decider in Fort Lauderdale.
Messi scored in the 65th minute to level the game at 2-2 but Bartosz Slisz struck Atlanta’s winner late on to send Inter Miami – David Beckham’s franchise – out of the competition.
