Long-time NFL reporter Pam Oliver sparks health concerns again with her speech during Patriots-Dolphins game

Fox Sports’ sideline reporter Pam Oliver has once again sparked concerns for her health among viewers.

Oliver was reporting from the game between the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins in freezing cold conditions in Foxborough.

But when she spoke on camera during the early stages of the third quarter, fans watching were immediately concerned something was wrong.

One fan commented: ‘There’s something wrong with Pam Oliver. Is she too cold?’

Another added: ‘Something sounds off with Pam Oliver today. She sounds like she is talking in slow motion.’

A third asked: ‘Does Pam Oliver sound weird to you guys? When she started talking I thought she was having some sort of episode.’

Another concerned viewer said: ‘Something has to be wrong with Pam Oliver’.

‘Is Pam Oliver okay? She did not sound great in that sideline report,’ another stated.

It is not the first time this season that Oliver has sparked concerns among Fox viewers.

Oliver, wearing an all-pink suit, was reporting from the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles game in October when her appearances during the broadcast trigged fears among fans watching at home.

She also troubled fans during an interview with Aaron Rodgers following the Pittsburgh Steelers’ win over the Vikings in Ireland.

Oliver has previously revealed that she has suffered from migraines for a ‘very, very long time.’

It’s caused me to miss a few games over the span of my career because I just couldn’t take the noise and the light and the sickness that comes with that. The nausea and the vomiting,’ she told The Athletic’s Sports Media with Richard Deitsch podcast in 2021.

She explained that she was forced to pull out of an assignment in Atlanta several years ago due to her health issues.

‘I was minutes from Mercedez-Benz [Stadium]. My driver, I said, you gotta pull over. We were less than five minutes from the stadium. I’m hurling. My head is pounding.

‘And I made the decision right then and there, I’m no good to anyone. There’s no way that I felt like I was gonna get through that game, be productive, help the crew, contribute in any way. So, turned around and I went home. I felt so guilty about that for the longest time, but they really do knock me out of action.’

Oliver explained in that interview that the issue had improved, though she was still experiencing about three migraines per month.
