In some truly cursed Love Island USA tea, fans reckon they can hear Cierra Ortega reacting to her abrupt eviction in the background of another contestant’s confessional.
ICYMI, the Love Island USA 2025 season has been completely messy with its on-and-off-screen drama. Recently, Cierra Ortega became the second contestant to be kicked off the show, and it’s been speculated that her premature elimination was a result of her alleged old Instagram posts, in which she used an anti-Asian slur.
To give you a quick recap, while Cierra was finding love in the villa, her old IG posts, which contained the word, resurfaced and went hyper-viral on social media. As a result of its virality, fans called on Love Island USA producers to kick the 25-year-old off the show.
In episode 30, Cierra officially left the villa, with narrator Iain Stirling revealing her departure was “due to personal reasons”.
Although we didn’t get to see Cierra’s eviction on camera, some fans reckon we could hear what went down when she officially left the shebang.

After episode 30 aired, fans noticed that something was going down in the villa during Olandria Carthen‘s confessional, where she was contemplating whether or not she clocked a vibe from model Zak Srakaew.
Online fans claimed you can hear someone yelling, “You can’t do that”.

Since the scene made its way to social media, many have speculated it was Cierra reacting to the news that she will be leaving the villa.

However, some people believe it could be the People’s Princess Amaya Espinal (AKA Amaya Papaya) yelling at producers on Cierra’s behalf.
So, was it Cierra yelling in Orlandria’s confessional?
At the time of writing, Love Island USA has not commented on any speculation surrounding the cursed confessional, nor the controversy surrounding Cierra’s alleged social media posts.
However, in response to all the heat surrounding Cierra, her family has pleaded with fans to have “empathy” as she returns to the real world.
