Luke Littler reveals he got nothing for girlfriend’s birthday – but makes pledge after banking £100,000 jackpot for World Masters triumph

Luke Littler has vowed to use some of his £100,000 World Masters prize money to treat his girlfriend Faith Millar after admitting he had not bought her a present for her birthday.
Littler claimed his first World Masters title on Sunday, beating Luke Humphries 6-5 in the final at Arena MK in Milton Keynes.
The triumph saw the 19-year-old become joint-third most successful player in the PDC era with 11 titles.
The two-time world champion’s haul is only bettered by Michael van Gerwen on 48 and Phil Taylor on 79.
Littler banked a £100,000 top prize for winning the event, with the European Championships now the only remaining major television PDC title he has yet to win.
Speaking after his victory, Littler explained that the final had clashed with Millar’s 20th birthday and admitted he had yet to buy her a present.

He revealed he was likely to go shopping with his £100,000 prize money after admitting to having not bought his girlfriend Faith Millar a birthday present
‘It is Faith’s birthday. I didn’t get her anything, but at least I got the trophy,’ Littler said.
‘We can go shopping tomorrow. It’s going to go.
‘There was no pressure on me today, but there was a little bit to try and get the win for her and my family.’
Littler later shared photos of himself on social media with his family and Millar following his triumph.
‘Another one,’ he wrote. ‘Took everything I had and so happy I get to add the world masters trophy to the collection.’
Littler confirmed his relationship with Millar in July after months of insisting they were merely friends.
He had kissed the beautician during World Matchplay event in Blackpool, where the world champion triumphed to become the youngest player to complete dart’s prestigious Triple Crown.
The pair had first been pictured together in May when Littler shared a photo of them on social media.
Millar has since been a regular presence at major darts events, including joining Littler in travelling to the Australian Darts Masters last year.

Littler had opened up about his relationship with Millar on DartsStream Live last year, admitting it had initially been ‘tough’ with people trolling their relationship online, but insisted those making comments were jealous.
‘Yeah, it’s been tough,’ he said. ‘Obviously, at the start of last year, I was always looking at the comments. And she’s been having a look [at the] negativity.
‘But I just said, “They’re jealous. They wanna ruin us.” But I just said, “Just don’t look at it and just focus on what we’ve got”‘.
