In what’s probably the biggest reality TV spoiler in history, Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 bride Brook Crompton has confirmed that she’s no longer with her reality TV husband, Chris Nield. BUT she is back and engaged with her ex, and they’re expecting a baby soon!
Look, every year, someone ends up spoiling their storyline on MAFS. Sometimes it’s via a cryptic Instagram post, sometimes it’s through sneaky paparazzi pics. But for 2026’s Brook — who’s been embroiled in controversy for her on-screen behaviour — she’s done full blown photoshoot.
In a massive truth bomb to Woman’s Day, the 27-year-old model revealed that she rekindled her romance with her ex, Harry, two weeks after leaving MAFS in August 2025, following an off-screen “incident” with Chris.
“It honestly feels like everything has fallen into place,” Brook told the publication.
“This is everything I’ve ever wanted — to be with a partner who supports me and loves me for me.”
Reflecting on rekindling the romance, Harry admitted to the publication that he was the one who “came crawling back”.
“But he had to put in the hard yards, because he broke up with me,” Brook said.
“But no, really we were both like, ‘OK, if it didn’t work back then, what are we going to do to make it work now?’”
But after a trip to the Maldives with his family friends, the pair realised they were meant for each other, with the 2026 bride adding, “We were better than we had ever been”.

Although Brook opened up about her experiences with exes and cheating, she clarified that her relationship with her now-fiancé didn’t end because of infidelity.
“There wasn’t infidelity — Harry would never. It wasn’t a toxic ending or anything. He was just so busy with work,” Brook said, with Harry adding that they “weren’t communicating that well”.
Brook said she told Harry about MAFS, and although he didn’t want her to go on, he didn’t want to stop her. She also shut down rumours she was in touch with Harry during the show.
“I guess it made me realise how amazing Harry is. He’s nothing like that person I married on MAFS,” Brook said.
“He’d never fat-shame a woman or speak about anyone badly. He sees the beauty in everyone. I’ve actually never been with someone who speaks about women that poorly. So right from the get-go, I was like, ‘This person is not for me.’ It was very much like, I’ve been paired with this person for TV ratings.”

In what truly was a premonition, Brook told Woman’s Day that she found she was pregnant in November following a dream.
“I had a dream that I was pregnant,” she said.
“I woke up and thought, ‘That was crazy,’ but I did a pregnancy test… and it was positive!” In disbelief, the couple went on to do several more tests, all of which said the same thing.”
Following the exciting news, Harry went on to pop the question on Christmas Day during a vacation in Aspen, Colorado.
WELP, there ya have it! Married At First Sight‘s Chris and Brook ARE NOT TOGETHER. But honestly, we all saw that coming following Chris’ devastating audition tape.
