MAFS Intruder Chris Robinson Says A Table ‘Caught On Fire’ In Unaired Wedding Moment

He’s only just joined the experiment, but MAFS [Married At First Sight] intruder Chris Robinson is already delivering all the BTS and unaired tea from his wedding. And we’re thirsty for it!
ICYMI, Chris made his MAFS debut as an intruder with new groom Sam Stanton in Tuesday night’s episode. Given what we’ve seen already this season, I wish them the best of luck.
While Chris and Sam’s wedding had all the MAFS hallmarks, there was apparently one moment that never made it to air — and it involved an accidental fire. Because it’s MAFS, so of course it did.
“There were a couple of things that didn’t make it to the show,” Chris told PEDESTRIAN.TV. “Sam’s groomsman actually lit the table on fire.”
If you’re wondering that perhaps MAFS went ahead and scouted a rogue arsonist to really set things alight, Chris confirmed that the groomsman gaffe was an “accident”.
“His hand got knocked over and the tablecloth caught on fire. We definitely thought that would have made it to the episode, but they left that part out. That was pretty iconic,” Chris said.

Why producers omitted that moment is anyone’s guess (maybe there’s already enough Dinner Party fireworks?), but Chris said it wasn’t the only aspect of his MAFS debut that was left on the cutting room floor.
“I’m not sure if they’re going to show any more about our honeymoon,” he said. “I’m a little bit disappointed if they don’t because there was a lot we filmed with the honeymoon over three or four days.”
For Chris, editing down his and Sam’s honeymoon meant viewers didn’t see “critical” parts of their early relationship.
“[We] had a chat on the beach about the pace that we were moving at. That’s pretty critical because I was left wondering if Sam was into me because we weren’t being affectionate,” Chris said.
“So I’m not sure what’s going to happen there, but yeah, there was definitely lots left out.”

We’ll have to wait to see how Chris and Sam’s relationship progresses, but it’s no secret that they’ve joined a truly chaotic MAFS season complete with bombshell Dinner Parties, abrupt departures, and at least one newcomer who has made no secret of his shocking opinions.
Such is the MAFS rollercoaster — and best believe we’re strapped the fuck in.
