Polarising Married At First Sight (MAFS) intruder bride Juliette Chae has admitted she was “blindsided” after she was disinvited from Gia Fleur‘s birthday party.
In case you haven’t been following the clusterf*ck that is MAFS 2026, Gia has fired up headlines by becoming one of this year’s biggest drama drivers.
Although she has been at the centre of many, many beefs, one of the brides who stuck by her side was intruder Juliette, who even said she was “ride or die” for her bestie.
However, with filming now done and dusted and our 2026 MAFS cast are out in the world, fans noticed that Juliette was absent from Gia’s recent birthday shebang, even though her other co-stars were present. Heck, even her frenemy Bec Zacharia was partying it up!!!
Well, in a cheeky interview with Daily Mail Australia, Juliette claimed she “got disinvited” and speculated it’s because Gia wanted Bec there rather than her.
“I got disinvited,” she told the publication.
“I [initially] got invited, like late notice, I think as well. And then, because Bec was there, she told me that she didn’t want me there ’cause Bec’s gonna be there. And I said fair enough.”
Alongside Bec, other MAFS 2026 stars were also at the dinner, including Chris Nield, Luke Fourniotis, Chris Robinson and Rebecca Zukowski.
Juliette went on to add that she remembered that she had a friend’s birthday the same night, and that Gia “begged” for “an appearance” before she was disinvited.
“Initially, I remember when she did tell me about it. I did have one of my best friends’ birthdays that night anyway, and so I was like, look, I don’t think I can come,” Juliette added.
“She begged and was like, can you do a like of an appearance? And I was like, sure.
“Then she texted again and said that she just didn’t think it was the right move because she thought she didn’t wanna have another dinner party happen again.”

Looking back at the whole kerfuffle, Juliette said she wouldn’t want to be there as she wouldn’t want to be in the same room as Bec at the end of the day…. THE SHADE.
“Yeah, you would think she’d have invited me, for sure,” Juliette continued.
“But I think Gia got really swept up in trying to be friends with Bec again. And Bec probably didn’t want me there and was like, if you want me there, Julie’s not gonna be there. And so she just probably folded for that.”
Despite all these, Juliette has claimed that Gia has “apologised multiple times” for the birthday party snub.
Are Married At First Sight‘s Gia Fleur and Bec Zacharia friends?
Despite admitting to PEDESTRIAN.TV in early February that she and Gia were no longer friends post-MAFS — stating she had to “I had to take a step back from Gia” — Bec was confirmed to be at her birthday party.
“We actually really did try to form a friendship. We really tried,” Bec told P.TV.
“I sort of blocked all communication from her if I’m honest with you, because I didn’t feel that it was aligning with who I am.”

However, when asked about her attendance at Gia’s party, the MAFS bride said they “connected” over the show and the hard times.
“The reason why I’m here tonight: we connected because we went through a really, really hard time,” Bec said.
“We became really good friends, and now she’s the one I love. You know, we’re all just women trying to make it in this dog-eat-dog world.”
However, Daily Mail Australia cites that they’re again “no longer on talking terms” and on a TikTok by Imogen Rawlings (@imogen_rawlings), Bec described her attendance as the “biggest regret ever”.

So, TL;DR on that hot mess, looks like Gia and Bec are NOT friends.
Honestly, at this point, I’m going to need a Commitment Ceremony for the friendships on MAFS rather than the marriages.
