Stephanie Marshall has moved on with a partner who is “worlds apart” from Tyson Gordon, after the controversial groom left her in a huff and puff during the last Married At First Sight (MAFS) Commitment Ceremony.
Speaking to PEDESTRIAN.TV, Stephanie confirmed she is no longer single and that she’s “met an amazing man” since her relationship with Tyson (if you could call it that). “We’re off the market, honey!” she declared, noting they’ve been dating since the end of October 2025.
“I actually sold him a property when I was on the show, but obviously didn’t meet him for quite some time until we did the pre-settlement inspection at the end of October, and I met him then,” she explained. And as for how he compares to the bullet that was Tyson, Stephanie said her new partner is “worlds apart” from her MAFS 2026 groom.
“[My new partner is] very intellectual, very emotionally intelligent. He’s well established in what he does. He’s just such an incredible man. He has respect for other people, which is always nice, and they are worlds apart. Tyson is a man-child.”
Do Stephanie and Tyson keep in touch?
As for whether Stephanie and Tyson have maintained any friendship since their time on MAFS abruptly ended, that’s a hard no. “Obviously, we filmed the reunion, but no, I have not spoken to him,” Stephanie confirmed. She did spill that Tyson had attempted to reach out, however, along with others who are close to him.
“He has tried to call me. His sister has also tried to call and message me, and one of his groomsmen from the wedding day has also tried to message me, but I’m not engaging. I want nothing to do with those people. I’ve got bigger and better things to focus my time and energy on.”
Stephanie reflects on the MAFS experiment
While Stephanie says it’s “a bit of a shame how everything ended up” between herself and Tyson, she admits it was a blessing in disguise. “I dodged a massive, massive bullet. I’m super grateful, and I wouldn’t change anything,” she explains.
“The experiment was such a pivotal moment in my life last year,” she continues. “I got everything out of it that I wanted, and it helped me open up and be open again to dating, and I found this incredible guy that’s literally everything I want.”
There you have it, team. Sometimes there is light at the end of a turdy tunnel.
