Man accused of being Billie Eilish’s stalker killed by New York train while jogging: report

A man who had been accused of stalking singer Billie Eilish was reportedly killed by a train while jogging around Long Island, New York.

Prenell Rousseau, 30, was hit by an LIRR train around 5:38 a.m. on Wednesday, according to local officials.

He was reportedly jogging “on or near” the tracks; his death appears to have been an accident, the New York Post reports.

In 2020, Rousseau was arrested after repeatedly showing up at Eilish’s house without an invitation.

In court documents, Eilish alleges that the deceased man displayed “erratic behavior” when he appeared in court. He allegedly approached the home seven times over two days in early May 2020.

During his first visit, Rousseau allegedly rang the doorbell and spoke to Eilish’s father through a surveillance camera. He insisted he was supposed to be there, but the father told Rousseau that he had the wrong house.

He returned later that same evening, at which point Eilish’s family called in a private security company for assistance.

“While we waited for security, Mr. Rousseau remained on our porch, sat down and began to read a book while also continuing to engage in a periodic monologue,” Eilish said in court records. “My father repeatedly asked him to leave, but he refused.”

She went on to say that she and her family were afraid of Rousseau, especially as he was visiting during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and was not wearing a face mask.
