Marjorie Taylor Greene sparks instant clashes moments after stepping onto The View

Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene was given a warm welcome to The View on Tuesday – but tensions soon flared between her and the panel.

The MAGA Representative was greeted warmly as she stepped onto the set of the ABC show in a striking red suit.

But seconds later, host Joy Behar landed the first dig, after Greene maintained ‘I do love him’ while referring to Donald Trump

Speaking in a stage whisper, Behar scored a laugh from the audience by muttering ‘Well, whatever.’

Greene and host outspoken liberal Sunny Hostin then discussed Greene’s recent attacks on both Republicans and Democrats. Greene insisted she has always felt comfortable defying party lines and only wants the best for working-class Americans.

She also complained about the ongoing government shutdown – saying she was sick of the ‘p*ssing contest between the men’ while slamming other DC lawmakers.

Hostin shared her surprise at finding common ground with Greene, who, in turn, told the host: ‘You’ve only seen me in clips and headlines and that’s not fair’

Things got even more testy, though, when Hostin began to grill Greene about her previous support of QAnon conspiracy theories. Whoopi Goldberg – receiving instruction off-camera – was quickly forced to call a break.

Marjorie Taylor Greene made her first appearance on The View Tuesday morning

‘No, I haven’t changed. I was a victim just like you were of media lies and stuff you read on social media. You all have attacked me many times on this show,’ Greene told Hostin.

She cited claims oft-pushed by liberals that Trump colluded with Russia during the 2016 election.

‘Why the change? Why the evolution,’ Hostin asked again.

An increasingly impatient Green replied: ‘Well, Sunny, it’s the first time you’ve met me.’

Goldberg was forced to cut to a break as the women threatened to get into an all-out war.
