Mark Latham is escorted by police from the Grand View restaurant at Royal Randwick Racecourse

Controversial former Labor leader Mark Latham has been escorted out of a restaurant at Royal Randwick Racecourse by two police officers.
In a photo obtained by the Daily Telegraph, Latham is seen leaving the Grand View Restaurant flanked by two police officers on Saturday afternoon.
The officers spoke to Latham and a female companion as their table before the politician got out of his seat and followed the pair outside.
The Grand View restaurant is managed by the Australian Turf Club, who previously issued the politician with a suspended sentence.
He then resigned his membership.
Sources told the publication that Latham reportedly told the officers he was at the restaurant as a guest of another member of the Turf Club.
Daily Mail has contacted Latham for comment.
More to come.
