Matt Zukowski Wasn’t Worried About Tammy Hembrow’s Reaction To His I’m A Celeb Tea-Spill
Matt Zukowski has spilled on his ex Tammy Hembrow’s reaction after he mentioned their headline-grabbing divorce during his stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
ICYMI, Zukowski was booted from the reality show on last night’s episode, bringing an end to a somewhat brief run in the jungle that included him name-dropping his influencer ex.
“We met through socials,” Zukowski told his campmates during an episode earlier this season. “I was very much convinced things would get better once we were married.”
The moment raised eyebrows among fans given the pair’s notoriously whirlwind months-long marriage, but now Zukowski has reflected on why he discussed Hembrow on I’m A Celeb.
“I’m the sort of guy that wears my heart on my sleeve, I’m an open book,” Zukowski told PEDESTRIAN.TV.
“I knew it would come up, I knew people would ask, and I just was like, you know what? I’ll be honest, tell my truth, and that’s all. There’s nothing else I could do than that,” he added.
As for whether Zukowski had any qualms mentioning Hembrow, well, he said he’d prefer to leave the past in the past.
“Man, like [she’s] not part of my life anymore,” Zukowski said.
Zukowski’s comments come as his former relationship with Hembrow continues to draw attention.
Earlier this week, insiders claimed Hembrow would share her side of the story during her upcoming stint on the reality show Shark!. She also recently revealed on Instagram that she’d removed her tattoos that referenced Zukowski.
Oh Zukowski also said it was “not nice” seeing Hembrow move on “so quickly” during her brief fling with Bailey Smith.
Zukowski and Hembrow got married in November, 2024 and announced their split just seven months later in mid-2025.
With all that, I suspect Zukowski’s time in the I’m A Celeb jungle might’ve actually been a nice reprieve. Well, minus all the bug-eating.
