ICYMI, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom lit up the headlines in early July after they confirmed they’ve officially split after being together for nine years.
While the pair have remained tight-lipped about the split since breaking the news, Bloom’s ex-wife, Miranda Kerr, has shed some light on some behind-the-scenes details.
For those who don’t know the lore, Bloom and Kerr were previously married from 2010 to 2013. The pair share a 14-year-old son together named Flynn and in 2017 Kerr, moved on from her divorce and married Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel.

Taking to the Kyle and Jackie O show on Thursday Morning, the former Victoria’s Secret model claimed the ex-fiancés were on good terms as she recently partied with them for Daisy Bloom‘s birthday.
“I love them both. I actually just saw them both. I was with them on the weekend,” Kerr dished.
“It was very sweet because we were celebrating Daisy’s birthday. And then, Katy and I were talking to Orlando. And then they were like, ‘Oh, let’s get a photo.’ And it was kind of funny. Katy sent me the photo of Orlando and then his two exes on the side, but we all had such a big smile on our faces.
“You know, we’re one big, happy family, as always. It’s amazing, I love her. And him, obviously.”
The co-hosts went on to push Kerr on details regarding Bloom and Perry’s split, questioning the model if the breakup was “very amicable and mature”.
“He must [breakup] with respect and dignity,” Kyle Sandilands said before Jackie-O Henderson told Kerr, “[because] I know you broke up and had great terms and it does seem that’s the case with Katy as well”.
In response, Kerr said “yeah”.
“I mean, honestly, especially when you have children, it shouldn’t be any other way,” Kerr said.
“Like, the needs of the child always has to come first. And it needs to be harmonious. And you know what? They’re going to be in your life for the rest of your life. Because they have a child together, so you just be peaceful, I mean, in my opinion.”
Why did Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom break up?
At the time of writing, neither Bloom nor Perry have come forward with a cheeky tea spill, a song or tell-all book on their split.
In a statement shared with Us Weekly, Bloom and Perry confirmed the end of their engagement, sharing that they “have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting”.
“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect,” the statement said.
Following the announcement of the split, insiders claimed Bloom was “psyched to let loose” at Jeff Bezos‘ Venice wedding to journalist Lauren Sánchez.
