Morning Joe host demands American arrests in hysterical on-air meltdown as British cops take Andrew into custody

The left-leaning host of MS NOW’s Morning Joe took aim at powerful Republicans Thursday following the arrest of the former prince Andrew.
Joe Scarborough, a former congressional Republican himself, demanded there be ‘consequences’ for Jeffrey Epstein’s conservative associates on US soil.
He accused Republicans of running cover for Epstein-linked figures like billionaire retail mogul Les Wexner, who was grilled by Congress Wednesday after more than 1,000 appearances in the Epstein files, which did not imply guilt and or any crimes.
Andrew, meanwhile, wasn’t just mentioned in the Epstein files, he was directly and repeatedly accused of having sex with late Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre when she was a teenager in a meeting arranged by Ghislaine Maxwell and the financier.
Scarborough drew comparisons to the UK’s arrest of Andrew, telling his audience, ‘They’re protecting Republicans.’
‘You know, JD Vance always looking down the end of his little nose at Europe. Well, at least they have shame in Europe. If somebody was was hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein, there are consequences. No consequences here!’
‘They don’t even show up for his deposition. That tells you how hypocritical and how morally bankrupt on this Epstein issue they are,’ he said of current Republicans. ‘All across the world. Gravity still holds. Moral gravity still holds in government.’
Scarborough also claimed current congressional Republicans were ‘too stupid to listen to’ him.

‘Because they’ve always been too stupid to do what’s in their best interest. This is your own base you’re screwing. This is your own base you’re ignoring,’ he raged.
‘They don’t trust anything we Republicans say you’re doing that to yourself. And all the money and all the campaign stops by the president, all of that. That doesn’t help.
‘That actually makes things worse for you, because you’re covering up for people who sorted with Jeffrey Epstein.’
Wexner – the billionaire behind Victoria’s Secret – was one of Epstein’s most prominent former friends.
He has spent years answering for their association, and told a congressional hearing this week that his mentions in the Department of Justice’s files on the financier have fueled ‘outrageous untrue statements and hurtful rumor, innuendo, and speculation’.
The former Prince Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office after police visited his new home on the Sandringham estate this morning.
The ex-Duke of York’s mention in the files suggested he shared confidential information with Epstein that included reports of his official visits and potential investment opportunities.

King Charles said in a statement released by Buckingham Palace on Thursday: ‘I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office.
‘What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities. In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation.
‘Let me state clearly: the law must take its course.
‘As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all’.
Andrew – whose arrest came on his 66th birthday – was stripped off his titles over his links to Epstein last year. He has denied any wrongdoing connected to Epstein’s crimes.
