NFL fans left in awe as Jaguars’ Cam Little kicks the longest field goal in history

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little converted the longest field goal in NFL history on Sunday.

Little stepped up and smashed the ball from 68 yards in their game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

It surpassed the previous record of 66 yards set by former Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker in 2021.

Fans went wild for the moment on social media, with one commenting: ‘How can’t you love sports and competition.

‘Think about the last month for Cam Little. Some would get cut. His first kick out of the bye is just – you know – a little 68 yarder and he drills it. Just part of the reason we love this stuff.’

Another posted: ‘Cam Little!! Greatest moment in Jags history’.

ESPN’s NFL analyst Ryan Clark said Little was ‘different bruh!!’

Another stunned onlooker crowned Little the GOAT while another posted a series of rocket emojis alongside his name.

It is not the first time Little has stunned fans with his ability. Back in pre-season, he kicked a 70-yarder against the Steelers.

His record-breaking kick on Sunday was the best moment of an otherwise turgid game in Las Vegas with the Raiders leading 6-3 at halftime.

Brock Bowers scored the first touchdown of the game for the Raiders but kicker Daniel Carlson missed the extra point. Little’s field goal cut the deficit just before the half.

After converting the lengthy kick, Little’s teammates mobbed him on the sideline in joyous scenes.
