NFL players battle for Sydney Sweeney’s attention on social media after actress launched her lingerie line
Buffalo Bills running back Ray Davis has become the latest NFL star to make his pitch to try and date Sydney Sweeney.
The Hollywood star has been in the news this week for launching her own line of lingerie and in an interview with Cosmopolitan to promote her latest business move, she opened up about what she looks for in a man.
‘Athletic and outgoing and funny,’ she said. ‘I’m a sporty girl, so someone needs to be able to climb a mountain with me, go skydiving with me.
‘And someone who loves their family. I love myself a man… oh, wow, when you print that, you won’t hear the inflection in my voice.’
The comments quickly went viral and first caught the eye of Puka Nacua, the star wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams. He retweeted Sweeney’s comments and added: ‘Love skydiving’.
But now running back Davis has thrown his hat into the ring as well.

In a direct reply to a post spelling out Sweeney’s comments about her ideal man, Davis replied: ‘I can probably add skydiving to my bucket list’.
Davis, 26, has just completed his second season in the NFL after getting drafted by the Bills in 2024.
There is little information out there about his personal life and no sign of a girlfriend or long-term partner.
It is unclear, however, if Sweeney is single at present.
She has been pictured repeatedly with music mogul Scooter Braun but didn’t name him directly in her Cosmo interview.
‘Sometimes I’ll think that I can do a normal thing and have a date in a normal way, and then it gets perceived in a very non-normal way,’ she said.
‘But it’s hard deciding that I want to experience love in the public eye. I’m just navigating it all.’
