The Indian Army on Tuesday denied reports of a ceasefire violation along the Line of Control in Poonch, countering media and social media claims. Earlier, PTI had reported unprovoked firing by Pakistani troops in the area. The clarification comes on the sixth anniversary of Article 370’s abrogation. Earlier border clashes in May had left 28 dead, including 13 in Poonch.
