Philadelphia’s woke Soros-backed DA grovels after freeing suspect now accused of killing beauty queen, 23

Philadelphia’s Democrat District Attorney blasted the court system for allowing the man accused of abducting a Miss USA hopeful to be released on bail before her disappearance.
Kada Scott, 23, was last seen on October 4 leaving her job at an assisted living facility and seemingly vanished, as her car was left parked at work and her phone went offline.
Police believe her remains were found in shallow grave behind a school on Saturday after they received a ‘very specific’ tip telling them take another look at the area where her belongings were found.
Keon King, 21, was arrested as a suspect in the case last week and he was charged with kidnapping and stalking the recent Penn State graduate.
He had been granted $200,000 bail in April for after being charged with assaulting his ex-girlfriend.
Prosecutors sought bail of just under $1 million in the earlier case but the judge set the amount at $200,000 – which King was able to pay.
During a Friday press conference, George Soros-backed District Attorney Larry Krasner insisted that ‘systemic issues’ are to blame for King’s release.
‘Ultimately the buck stops here. It’s not my job to throw other people under the bus. If there’s a decision that is poor, and I believe that that was an incorrect decision, then we have to own it and we have to try to do better moving forward in order to change that,’ Krasner said.

The DA explained his office ultimately withdrew the case because the victim and an eyewitness did not show up for court, which he believes is because King was out on bail and they were afraid.
‘What I am saying about the bail is that it could have made all the difference in the world,’ he said.
Krasner then defended his office’s decision not to appeal the bail decision, arguing it would have been fruitless.
‘You have the option of trying to do what is often a midnight or 3am telephonic appeal to a Municipal Court judge,’ he said.
‘The unfortunate reality of this is that some, but not all, of these judges don’t want you calling them in the middle of the night, and if you do, they lower the bail. They don’t raise it. They don’t leave it. They lower it.’
Martin O’Rourke, a spokesperson for the courts, told The Philadelphia Inquirer that Krasner and his staff know that Municipal Court and Common Pleas Court judges are always on call.
‘In light of this truth,’ he said, ‘the DA’s comments are appallingly disrespectful and a sad attempt on his part to find a scapegoat for his own failings on this matter.’
Law enforcement sources told The Philadelphia Inquirer that DNA evidence confirms the remains found on Saturday belong to Scott.

An anonymous tipster contacted police on Friday saying, ‘GO BACK YOU MISSED HER.’
Earlier in the week, police discovered her debit card and pink phone case behind the school, but had missed her grave.
‘While conducting a search of the property, investigators discovered a shallow grave and recovered human remains believed to be those of Kada Scott,’ First Deputy Commissioner of the Philadelphia Police Department John Stanford said.
‘This is a heartbreaking development, and our thoughts are with Kada’s family and loved ones during this extremely difficult time. The Philadelphia Police Department remains committed to uncovering the truth and ensuring that justice is served.’
People who helped search after the tip came in said there were obvious signs something was lying beneath the dirt.
It is not known how she died and the medical examiner’s office has not officially confirmed the remains belong to Scott, or the cause of death.
Investigators are also working to determine the nature of the relationship between Scott and King. Police said the two were texting on the night of her disappearance.
New video evidence also suggests that Scott was likely killed within 30 minutes of her leaving work.
Shortly after King’s arrest, a terrifying video started to circulate on TikTok showing a hooded figure creepily peering through a woman’s window in Philadelphia.

The viral clip, believed to show King trying to break into another woman’s home, is now of the investigation into Scott’s death.
Police said King, meanwhile, allegedly climbed a fence at his ex-girlfriend’s home and tried to break in January.
In November 2024, King allegedly forced the same woman into bed and violently choked her, but those charges were also dropped when she failed to appear in court three times.
In the latest video, the woman told the hooded figure to leave and urged someone off camera to call police. Moments later, the man was seen walking to the side of the house, peering into another window as he appeared to try to break in, investigators said.
Later that day, the man allegedly abducted a woman from the street, forcing her into his car, driving at high speed, and biting her face while choking her. She was later treated for minor injuries.
