Selections based on a heavy track.
Race 1
7. Al Flores has had two starts since joining the Matthew Dale stable and has finished second in each of them. She has now been placed in five of her 11 starts, and she strikes another winnable race here. She gets her chance to break through. 10. Hardly Fortunate has only had two starts, but has performed well in each of them with a second on debut at Wagga being followed by a third at that track last time out in the same race Al Flores finished second. She has the advantage of gate one. 5. Pick A Symphony made his debut with a fourth at Queanbeyan before a resuming with a fifth at the same track. He can get into the minor money. 1. Anabaa’s Spirit was a last-start fourth at Gundagai and is a place chance.
How to play it: Al Flores to win.

Race 2
6. Octa De Lago did the job well to score a win at this track on debut when hitting the line well. He followed that up with a seventh at Canterbury before a last-start fourth at Gosford when beaten just over a length. He can get back into winning form in this. 8. Loch Erin resumed from a spell and raced on the speed to score a strong victory at Wagga. She can give a bold sight again. 9. Tonkatsu Goddess ran well when a last-start second at Newcastle and is worth including among the main chances. 3. Pretty Vegas was not beaten far when fifth in Highway grade at Randwick when last
produced and warrants respect in this company.
How to play it: Octa De Lago to win.
Race 3
8. Maire De Paris ran second at this track three starts ago and has since finished fifth and fourth at Gosford and Hawkesbury. She’s up in distance for this and looks to have the potential to give this a shake. 6. Khant Fail has been placed in four of 10 starts and wasn’t too far away at Hawkesbury last time out. 5. Mr Conspiracy has finished second in his past two starts and can be thereabouts again. 4. Juliette’s Joy was close up when fourth at Queanbeyan when last produced and a placing would not surprise.
How to play it: Maire De Paris to win.
Race 4
3. Graphic Sight made his debut with a third at Canberra in December and was then spelled. He has had two Randwick trials in preparation for this resuming run and been close up in each of them. He’s drawn well here and will be difficult to hold out. 2. From The Peak ran second as favourite at Newcastle on debut and resumes here after two trials. She won the latest at Randwick. 4. Watson made his debut with a fourth on the Kensington track behind Raging Force and should be better for that. 9. Crimson Wings has had two trials, winning the last at Canterbury leading into her debut. How to play it: Graphic Sight to win.
Race 5
3. Wexford Miss ran a good race when finishing second at this track two starts ago. She was down the track at Hawkesbury last time out but can lift on that in this from the good draw. 7. East Harlem ran well when fourth at Wagga last time out behind Loch Erin and should get a nice run from the ideal gate. 6. William has won his past two starts and looms as a chance again if he can run up to those efforts. 11. Santolini followed a Wagga win with a fourth there last time out and can figure.
How to play it: Wexford Miss to win.
Race 6
11. Nambi Ghima has had six starts, and while she is yet to get into the placings, she has shown enough ability to rate a chance of breaking through in this. She ran well enough when resuming with a midfield effort at Kembla Grange, and a repeat of that would make her difficult to hold out here. 3. Omaha Sand has been midfield in both runs since resuming from a spell and could show up if he can repeat those efforts. 6. The Big Blue hit the line well when a last-start third at Wyong and can be in the finish with a repeat of that, while 12. Beached As Bro was not disgraced at Bathurst when last produced and has place claims.
How to play it: Nambi Ghima each way.

Race 7
1. Climate Change returns from a break here for a new stable. The former Victorian was a winner at Werribee two starts ago and then finished midfield at Kyneton last time out. She will be aided by the apprentice allowance. 6. Greygenta was a Queanbeyan winner at her third start, and she was placed at Muswellbrook two runs ago. She resumes here after two trials and looks to have the talent to run well. 4. Sculptor is a stablemate of Greygenta, which was a winner at this track in February. He resumes here and has also had two trials in preparation. 3. Thoughtful disappointed when resuming at this track but has shown enough in his career to suggest he can turn things around.
How to play it: Climate Change to win.
