Rajnath Singh, US counterpart Pete Hegseth hold discussions on GE404 Engines, F414 Tech, Apache attack helicopters
The two leaders – who spoke for the third time over phone this year – also discussed long-term cooperation in the defence sector and expanding industry collaboration, said officials.
“They agreed to further build upon the momentum of this critical and mutually beneficial partnership across all its pillars such as interoperability, integration of defence industrial supply chains, logistics sharing, increased joint military exercises and cooperation with other like-minded partners,” said one of the officials.
The defence minister appreciated the unwavering support extended by the US to India in its fight against terrorism, officials said. Singh also spoke on Operation Sindoor and said that India’s actions were measured, non-escalatory and focused on disabling terrorist infrastructure.
