
A much-loved real estate agent has died after becoming trapped under a ride-on mower.
Ty Babbidge, 55, was killed following the horrific accident at his property on Grandview Road in Pullenvale, west of Brisbane, at 7.30pm on Friday.
Mr Babbidge had been working for Brisbane Real Estate for more than ten years.
Director and principal Kel Goesch said he was devastated by the news.
‘Ty was one of the most generous, happy and genuine people on this planet. He cared a lot about others,’ he told the Courier Mail.
‘He was a lot of people’s great friend, but he was very passionate and proud about his family.’
Mr Babbidge had four properties listed across Kholo in Brisbane, Seventeen Mile in the Lockyer Valley, Fernvale in Somerset, and Greenmount in Toowoomba.
Queensland Police are treating the death as non-suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
