Romeo Beckham has seemingly joined in on snubbing his older brother — following in his dad’s footsteps by sharing a 2025 recap post with Brooklyn Beckham nowhere to be seen.
ICYMI, David Beckham did little to dispel rumours of a quarrel with his son when he shared a New Year’s Day Instagram Post recapping his 2025 — with Brooklyn suspiciously absent from all the snaps.
“I feel very lucky to have had the year I’ve had in 2025 … I’m so grateful to my incredible wife, my amazing children, my friends and the team I work with every single day, nothing would have been possible without you all,” David wrote in the caption.
While other members of the Beckham brood, including Romeo, Cruz and Harper, appeared in David’s 20-slide dump, Brooklyn was noticeably missing — an omission not helped by the fact that he dramatically blocked his family members on IG last month.
Perhaps extending an olive branch in the wake of the apparent snub, David later shared an Instagram Story of a throwback snap of himself and Brooklyn, which his wife, Victoria Beckham reshared on her own profile.

“I love you all so much,” Victoria captioned the repost alongside a heart emoji. Notably, Victoria did not reshare any of the other photos David posted with the rest of their kids.
Romeo joined the IG snub-fest
Things only got messier when Romeo seemingly joined the social media snubbery. In a 2025 recap of his own, Romeo shared a carousel featuring multiple Beckham family members except… you guessed it, his older brother.
Adding insult to injury, Romeo chose to send his “love” in the caption to all his family members, including his girlfriend Kim Turnbull — while leaving out Brooklyn entirely. These guys do snubbing better than David does curling free kicks!

The Beckhams have supposedly been feuding for years
The apparent tit-for-tat adds to rumours of a Beckham rift that dominated much of 2025 and appears to be going strong in the new year.
It all dates back to 2022, when insiders claimed Brooklyn began feuding with his parents after Victoria clashed with his wife, Nicola Peltz, over the planning of their wedding.
Reports intensified last year when Brooklyn and Nicola were no-shows at David’s 50th birthday party, not long before Cruz and Romeo seemingly made fun of Nicola on social media.
The married couple were also markedly absent from the premiere of Victoria’s Netflix documentary in October, proving that this feud is about as messy as I always seem to be whenever Spice Girls plays at karaoke.

But Romeo’s latest move signals that a peace treaty might not be on the cards anytime soon.
With 2026 being the year of the horse in the Chinese zodiac, here’s hoping the Beckhams can move forward with some kind of reconciliation — or at least start including each other in social media posts.
