London’s National Theatre has unveiled first-look production images of Rosamund Pike and the cast in Suzie Miller’s “Inter Alia,” offering a glimpse of the Golden Globe winner in action.
The striking photographs, captured by Manuel Harlan, show Pike commanding the stage as Jessica Parks, an eminent London Crown Court Judge who’s changing the legal system one case at a time while juggling her roles as wife and mother. The story follows Jessica as she manages “the impossible juggling act faced by every working mother” until an unexpected event threatens to throw her life completely off balance, raising the question: “Can she hold her family upright?”

Pike, famed for her roles in “Saltburn,” “Gone Girl,” “I Care a Lot” and “A Private War,” takes center stage in the photos as Jessica Parks, who the National Theatre describes as “smart, compassionate, a true maverick at the top of her career.” The production shots capture both the character’s professional authority and the personal vulnerability at the heart of Miller’s drama.

The play marks both Pike’s National Theatre debut and Miller’s return to the venue following her global success with “Prima Facie.” Director Justin Martin reunites with Miller following their collaboration on “Prima Facie,” with Martin also known for helming “Stranger Things: The First Shadow.”

The production photos showcase the work of set and costume designer Miriam Buether, whose staging blends courtroom formality with intimate domestic spaces, reflecting the play’s central tension between Jessica’s professional and personal worlds. Lighting designer Natasha Chivers’ atmospheric work is evident in the moody, dramatic imagery.
