‘Saturday Night Live’ Lets Sabrina Carpenter’s F-Bombs Air During ‘Nobody’s Son’ Performance

As Sabrina Carpenter pulled double duty on this weekend’s Saturday Night Livethe show’s censor couldn’t quite keep up.

While performing her track ‘Nobody’s Son’ from her seventh album Man’s Best Friendthe 2x Grammy winner dropped two F-bombs that made it onto NBC‘s East Coast broadcast, as well as Peacock‘s simulcast.

“He sure f*cked me up,” sang Carpenter twice in her karate-themed performance at Studio 8H. It’s unclear if NBC will face a fine or other consequences from the FCC. Deadline has reached out to both for comment.

Although the expletive made it into the East Coast’s broadcast, it was reportedly censored during the West Coast airing. The word has since been scrubbed from the performance on Peacock and YouTube.

But for many watching live, the moment did not go unnoticed. “Sabrina saying f*ck TWICE on live national television is the most Sabrina Carpenter thing ever she dgaf im crying,” wrote one fan on X.

“Never leave Sabrina Carpenter unsupervised she’s gonna drop the f bomb on national television,” another posted.

“Sabrina Carpenter said f*ck on SNL justice for Jenny Slate,” someone else wrote.

Marking her third appearance on the NBC sketch comedy show, Carpenter served as celebrity guest host and musical guest on this weekend’s Saturday Night Livealso performing her song ‘Manchild’.
