Savannah Guthrie posts heartbreaking new video in search for missing mom Nancy

Savannah Guthrie has posted a heartbreaking new video in search for missing mom Nancy.

The Today host, 54, took to Instagram on Thursday to upload the clip that was filled with nostalgic photos and footage from her childhood.

In the upload, Nancy was seen embracing her three children, Guthrie, Annie and Cameron, in their infancy.

‘Our lovely mom,’ the caption read. ‘We will never give up on her. Thank you for your prayers and hope.’

It was overlaid with a song by The Brilliance titled May You Find a Light.

Guthrie posted just moments after a white forensics tent was erected outside Nancy’s home in the very place a chilling figure wearing a ski mask and thick gloves was seen approaching her home just 11 days ago.

Nancy, 84, was abducted form her $1 million Tucson, Arizona home in the early hours of February 1.

A large tent is now blocking the entrance to her home and her front porch, where investigators found blood that matched her DNA.

It is unclear why the tent has been erected or what evidence might have been spotted.

On Tuesday, footage of a potential suspect in Nancy’s disappearance was released by the FBI.

It showed an armed and masked figure wearing gloves tampering with a Google Nest doorbell camera outside her $1 million home on the morning she disappeared.

Another video released by officials showed the masked individual attempting to cover the lens with a clenched fist, then searching the area around the door, ripping a bunch of flowers from the entranceway, and waving them at the camera.

The suspect also appeared to be hunched over as he made their first approach to the door, bowing his head.

On Tuesday evening, a man was detained near the Mexican border in connection with Nancy’s abduction following a traffic stop south of Tucson.

The individual was taken into custody but was later released after police performed a court-ordered search of the property where he had been staying.

Two investigators emerged from Nancy’s daughter Annie’s home Wednesday with a paper grocery sack and a white trash bag.

One, still wearing blue protective gloves, also took a stack of mail from the roadside mailbox. They drove away without speaking to reporters.

Nancy was last seen on the evening of January 31 where she had attended a dinner with her eldest daughter, Annie and son-in-law Tommaso Cioni.

Cioni then dropped her back off at her house at around 9.48pm and her garage door closed at approximately 9.50pm, according to police.

By 1.47am, Nancy’s doorbell camera was disconnected, with the newly released footage showing the suspect ripping the camera from its holder on the door frame.

Annie and Cioni have previously said they only realized Nancy was missing around 11.10am on Feburary 1, the Pima County Sheriff’s Office said.

They reported her disappearance to police at 12.15pm. Her phone, wallet, vital daily medications and car were still at her Catalina Foothills home.

Investigators found drops of blood on Nancy’s front porch that were later confirmed to be hers.

Her pacemaker stopped transmitting data to her Apple Watch and phone shortly afterwards, suggesting she had been taken out of the devices’ range.

Nancy requires medication every 24 hours and it is unclear if whoever abducted her has ensured she has access to her medication as her three children released several videos pleading for the public’s help to find their mother.
