Seinfeld actor’s shock as co-star reveals terrifying encounter with ghost that kicked her off a bed

A Seinfeld actor was left shocked as her co-star opened up about her terrifying encounter with a ghost that ‘kicked off a bed’ in a chilling new interview.

Amanda Peet, 57, was stunned when co-guest Elizabeth Banks, 51, revealed her spiritual tale during a game of ‘Spill the IMDb Tea’ on on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Banks detailed how she was working on 2007’s Fred Claus with Vince Vaughn and Paul Giamatti when she was confronted by a seemingly angry spirit at the famous Pinewood Studios in England.

She said: ‘Loved living in London. I met a ghost, so I’m gonna say 4.85.’

The drama unfolded when Banks was alone at the studios  when she was ‘grabbed’ by what she believes was a female ghost while she was sat on a bed.

She said: ‘I had to be like, “I see you, I get it. You don’t want me to sit in this bed. I will not do it anymore!”‘

‘And I never went in that corner of the room ever again.’

Elsewhere in the chat Peet opened up about her role ‘dating’ Seinfeld in the show’s heyday.

Peet, 57, appeared in an episode as a waitress dating Jerry Seinfeld in 1997.

‘You played a waitress that went out with Jerry,’ Cohen began. ‘How did the episode turn out?’

‘Yeah I know,’ the Film Independent Spirit Award winner replied, cringing for a moment and then asking if she should rate the episode or the experience.

‘That was a rough one for me,’ she said of the experience of performing in front of a live studio audience.

‘I had a lot of stage fright. I’m going to give it like a five. I was really scared,’ the now veteran actress said with a laugh.

She had difficulty rating her experience on 2001’s Saving Silverman with Jason Biggs and Jack Black.

Peet resorted to a high pitched sound for her answer regarding the romantic comedy about friends trying to keep their friend from marrying the wrong woman, but gave it a seven after being coached by Cohen.

Regarding her time filming The Whole Nine Yard with Bruce Willis and the late Matthew Perry, Peet quickly answered ‘that’s a 10.’
