Selena Gomez’s wedding dress holds sweet nod to new husband Benny Blanco as she gives intimate look at couple’s nuptials

Selena Gomez has shared more intimate photos from her and Benny Blanco’s recent star-studded wedding – including many very personal touches from the event. 

The newlywed granted fans massive access to the day as she dropped a slew of romantic images from the soiree to her Instagram on Tuesday, with snaps covering everything from her bouquet to their wedding cake.

The actress, 33, wore three different Ralph Lauren dresses this past Saturday, but one of them contained an extra special nod to her relationship with Benny – her lace gown, which was embroidered with a delicate ‘S+B’, sewn within a white heart.

She offered a close-up of the detail, holding her skirt up for the camera.  

One adorable photo captured the bride dancing barefoot with her 37-year-old husband as they shared a big smooch.

The post also featured Selena’s grandfather David Cornett, who walked her down the aisle. In the image, the bride slung an arm around her proud, tuxedo-clad grandpa. 

The party feasted on a classic white wedding cake, shaped into a heart and featuring a topper of a newlywed couple. ‘Just married,’ was beautifully scribbled atop the confection. 

Selena – who captioned the post with tags to Ralph Lauren, her husband, and her cosmetics brand Rare Beauty – received a tender comment from her husband.

‘Wife,’ he simply posted.

Selena and Benny tied the knot just north of Santa Barbara on Saturday in a lavish celebration attended by 170 family and friends, including Gomez’s longtime friend Taylor Swift, her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short, as well as Paul Rudd and Ed Sheeran. 

The Rare Beauty founder joked of Short during an appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, saying: ‘Marty’s the ring bearer’. 

Selena stunned in a custom hand-draped Ralph Lauren satin gown with embroidery and Tiffany & Co platinum-and-diamond earrings, while Benny wore a classic black Ralph Lauren tuxedo.

The newlyweds first confirmed their romance in December 2023, though their professional partnership stretches back nearly a decade, with Benny producing several of the singer’s biggest hits.

They announced their engagement in December last year and have since collaborated on new music, including their joint album I Said I Love You First. 

Selena’s marriage to Benny marks a new chapter in what was once a turbulent love life that included a high-profile relationship with Canadian singer Justin Bieber.

The former couple’s romance started in 2011 when she was just 18 and he 16 and flamed out for good in 2018 – just months before he wed his now-wife Hailey.

In a 2020 interview with NPR, Selena described the relationship as ‘toxic’ adding: ‘I’m not being disrespectful.

‘I do feel I was a victim to certain [emotional] abuse.’

Although Selena also met Benny while she was in her teens, neither remembered the meeting and the pair only became close after collaborating on the March 2019 tune I Can’t Get Enough.

The video featured Benny dressed as a white teddy bear and the pair became pals but romance didn’t blossom until they worked together on her August 2023 smash hit, Single Soon.

That led to sparks flying and by December the same year, the couple confirmed they were an item with Selena declaring online of Benny: ‘[He is the] best thing that’s ever happened to me. The end.’

Selena and Benny have had a relatively short engagement and announced they would wed early last December in an Instagram post she captioned: ‘Forever begins now’.

The sweet post was accompanied by a carousel of photos that included a close-up of her stunning marquise cut solitaire diamond engagement ring.
