Shannon Elizabeth played the beautiful pin-up Nadia in the hit 1999 teen comedy American Pie, which also starred Jason Biggs and Tara Reid.
After that, the brunette beauty went on to star in Scary Movie, American Pie 2, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Tomcats, Cuts, That ’70s Show and Love Actually throughout the 2000s.
She also launched a major modeling career, appearing on the cover of Maxim multiple times, and competed on the sixth season of Dancing with the Stars.
In addition, Elizabeth became a well-known poker player in Vegas, participating in a slew of celebrity poker tournaments over the years.
Her more recent acting credits include American Reunion, The Outsider, and Marshall’s Miracle and the comedy film Plan B, amongst others; she also participated in Celebrity Big Brother in 2018.
She left Hollywood years ago to live in South Africa instead, where she runs a charity dedicated to wildlife conservation.

Now she has been seen in a rare Instagram photo on the set of her new movie, First Witch, which comes out this year.
The film is about a couple that travels to a small town to seek alternative conception methods from a traditional healer, only to uncover the town’s dark past.
Her acting career has slowed down recently as she switched her focus to activism.
She moved to South Africa in 2017 where she runs the Shannon Elizabeth Foundation, which is dedicated to helping animals and raising awareness about rhino poaching.
‘We’re building a sanctuary. We have a blind black rhino we’ve been taking care of, and we’re going to bring in more rhinos as soon as we can do an expansion,’ she said during an event back in April.
‘I started my charity [in the 2000s], which was called Animal Avengers at the time, and it’s been going since then, it’s just morphed over the years into conservation and wildlife from dogs and cats.’
As for her love life, she wed actor, director and producer Joseph D. Reitman in 2002 but they split in 2005.

Elizabeth was among the cast of the sixth season of Dancing with the Stars, partnered with Derek Hough. Elizabeth was the seventh star eliminated from the competition.
Elizabeth was the host of the comedy/burlesque series Live Nude Comedy in 2009.
Elizabeth also featured in Chris Brown’s Next to You music video as Brown’s girlfriend in 2011.
