Shocking photos show deadly Iranian missiles intercepted by the UAE littering the desert playground

The United Arab Emirates has released photos showing debris and electronic components from intercepted Iranian missiles after air defense systems shot down a new wave of projectiles launched toward the country.

The images show fragments of the fast-moving projectiles, including exposed wiring and internal guidance components, recovered in Abu Dhabi after the interceptions.

Officials said the missiles were successfully intercepted with no injuries or damage reported, despite debris falling across several parts of Abu Dhabi.

In a statement issued Saturday, the UAE Ministry of Defense announced their air defense systems ‘successfully intercepted a new wave of Iranian missiles launched toward the country.’

They said the threat was handled with ‘high efficiency,’ and that no damage or casualties were reported.

Fragments were reported in several areas including Saadiyat Island, the St. Regis Abu Dhabi, Khalifa City, Beni Yas, Mohamed Bin Zayed City and Al Falah.

The ministry confirmed the country will remain on high alert and is prepared to respond to any further threats.

The announcement comes as tensions across the Middle East continue to escalate following US and Israeli strikes on Iran and claims that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been killed.

In a post on Truth Social, US President Trump said: ‘Khamenei, one of the most evil people in History, is dead. This is not only Justice for the people of Iran, but for all Great Americans, and those people from many Countries throughout the World, that have been killed or mutilated by Khamenei and his gang of bloodthirsty THUGS.

‘He was unable to avoid our Intelligence and Highly Sophisticated Tracking Systems and, working closely with Israel, there was not a thing he, or the other leaders that have been killed along with him, could do.’

Earlier reports said his body was found under rubble in his compound in Iran after US and Israeli airstrikes.

Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu have been shown a photograph of his body, according to Israeli officials.

‘A photo of the body was shown to Netanyahu and Trump,’ reported Israel’s Channel 12.

‘Senior Israeli officials were informed of Khamenei’s elimination. His body was recovered from the rubble of his compound,’ reported public broadcaster Kan. There has been no confirmation of Khamenei’s death from Tehran.

In a televised address on Saturday evening, the Israeli Prime Minister said that airstrikes in Iran had destroyed the Supreme Leader’s compound, and added that ‘all indications show this tyrant is no longer with us.’

However, Iranian state media has denied the claims so far.
