A bittersweet moment hit the Diamonds seconds after the winning goal in the Constellation Cup, with Sunday Aryang going down with a serious injury on Wednesday night.
Going into game four, the Diamonds led New Zealand 2-1 in the series, with the Silver Ferns finishing 62-57 winners at full-time.
That result forced extra-time and scores were level at 11-11 with six seconds on the clock as the Diamonds expertly wound down the clock by passing the ball around before Sophie Garbin netted a goal.

The Silver Ferns quickly restarted with a Hail Mary pass sent to New Zealand star Grace Nweke, who was ruled to have committed a contact infringement on Aryang.
Goal defence Aryang hit the floor with her knee tangled up awkwardly as the Australians celebrated the result.
Those celebrations quickly turned to concern with Aryang on the court in tears.
Scans on Thursday confirmed Aryang suffered a ruptured ACL in her right knee.
"It is such difficult news for Sunday, who is such an important person and player within our Diamonds environment," Australia coach Stacey Marinkovich said.
"She's a valued member of our team, and we'll support her every step of the way through her recovery. We know with the support network around her, Sunday will rally and be back stronger than ever."
