Tammy Hembrow has discussed a ‘boring’ man that she dated – with many suspecting she was taking a swipe at her recent ex, Bailey Smith.
The influencer, 31, told the Mad About You podcast that she hasn’t dated many men since her divorce from Love Island star Matthew Zukowski.
‘I haven’t been on many dates until recently, really… But I did go on a date with a guy. It’s literally the only guy I went on a date with …he was just so boring,’ she said.
‘If I speak to someone online or meet them online I want to meet them face to face straight away. I’m not really a texter or anything like that, if you’re trying to talk to me I need to meet you face to face,’ she went on.
‘So we went on a date and it was just like … I was just so bored. He was really like lovely. I’m like super goofy and weird and hyperactive and I can’t be bored.’
Tammy then conceded: ‘I was nervous as well. Maybe I’m boring and he’s matching my energy.’

The fitness influencer admitted that she has been unlucky in love.
‘I obviously am not great at love. It feels like that. I’m just like a normal person and I am just going through things that normal people would go through,’ she said.
Tammy and Bailey’s brief romance has been all anyone can talk about over the past few weeks.
From being caught in the throes of passion while dining out at a restaurant to egging on whispers with their public comments about each other, the pair’s high-profile relationship set tongues wagging – especially when it cooled off soon after.
But fans accused the pair of staging their romance for publicity after Tammy revealed she is partnering with Tinder on Tuesday – just three months after the AFL star announced his collaboration with the dating app as an ambassador.
‘I am officially in my new dating era and, yes, I’m on Tinder looking for my next crush,’ she began in the Instagram clip, which she filmed in her car wearing a revealing white T-shirt.
‘My dating life always seems to make headlines but you’re hearing it first. I’m officially putting myself back out there.’
Seemingly hinting at her brief fling with Bailey, 24, Tammy added: ‘Honestly, I feel like everyone thinks dating has to be so serious, it’s supposed to be fun!’

‘So I’m on Tinder to see who’s out there. Hopefully I’ll meet people who match my vibe and, if it turns into something more, even better.’
She signed off the paid advertisement with, ‘If you’ve been waiting for a sign, this is it. Go find your next crush on Tinder too.’
Many fans were quick to point out that her Tinder partnership must be a sign that her relationship with Bailey was a PR stunt.
‘I’m convinced their fling was a publicity stunt for this and I love it!!’ a fan wrote.
One person chimed in: ‘Another publicity stunt ! Probably getting paid way too much for it!’
Tammy split from husband Matt Zukowski in June.
Matt, 30, and Tammy got engaged in December 2023 after just three months of dating.
They tied the knot almost a year later, in November 2024, but rumours of a split began to circulate earlier this year.
After just seven months of marriage, the pair announced in June they were divorcing.
